The popular "share, if you agree" trend, happening now, on Facebook got my attention. I couldn't help to wonder if this was a good or bad trend. After a couple of moments of semi-deep thought, it hit me. This trend could have potential to help unite the Facebook community by member participating in an international conversation and connecting to one another via the social networking, just like many other online trends.
I don't believe that this trend has the ability to replace, or even, come close to human interaction, but it's a start for the Facebook community for the creation of a public forum where people, can hopefully, discuss and debate contemporary or controversial issues.
Twitter has also created a platform where people all over the world can connect, engage and debate with others. The "trending" section of Twitter is a place to discover what's happening in your country or even the world. This particular blog suggests some mild benefits of Twitter, there will be a future blog that will look the other direction.
